WINE TASTING: REWARD OF THE VIRTUOUS!

What: An interesting selection of French wines, some quite rare

Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30pm

Charlie is leaving Australia. After 15 years of selling natural wine in Australia our old friend and valued wine importer is heading back to France.

Charlie, with his company Virtuous Vine, was one of the first importers to focus purely on minimal intervention wines. Long before "natural wine" became popular he was out there on street corners, preaching about the sins of factory yeast additions and acidification.

While minimal intervention wine in Australia is now almost the norm, this was in the old days. The long long ago. Back then natural wine was a lonely road. Old men in sleeveless Macpac puffer vests would yell at you. People would throw rocks at you in the street if you dared suggest reducing their delicious sulphur additions. Dark times.

To commemorate this occasion we will be drinking some delicious wines. We are still confirming but will include rare wines such as Domaine Dandelion, Alice & Olivier de Moor and more...

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our wine tastings finish at 8:30 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food, we will have some nibbles but not full meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the wine bar Where's Nick for dinner after a tasting. It is super good. Book Here.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Tickets can be exchanged for future events credit up to 7 days before the event.

Our events sell out and it is very difficult for us to re-sell them a couple of days before or on the day of the event. 

This cannot be done closer to the event as we order wines based on ticket sales. If you cannot make the event, you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, like a gift!
