Lichtenberger Gonzalez - Leithaberg DAC Rot Blaufrankisch 2019

A seriously elegant Blaufränkisch from the Leithaberg Mountains in Austria.

Aromatic on the nose with violets, dark fruits, oak spices, and stoney minerality. Dry and medium to full bodied, with vibrant mineral acidity and fine lines of tannin, resulting in an elegant and silky-smooth palate. Flavours of ripe cherry and berries, fresh kitchen herbs, mushrooms, and a touch of fresh wood, finishing with a touch of cherry and a long saline-mineral edge.

It's elegant, robust, full of depth, and absolutely delicious.
