A juicy, fragrant French wine with notes of red fruits, blueberries and spice. Great balance with silky, succulent fruit and a core of acid holding things in place. My favourite from this release. Really good now but will improve for maybe 3 to 6 years.

NERD NOTES
From the South-East part of Fleurie. Sandy soils derived from granite over ancient alluvium. Dense layer of pebbles in some spots. Same site as Avalanche but the best parcel of fruit from that vintage.
All manual. Semi-carbonic maceration in concrete for 12 day with soft pumping over. Rested for 21 months in large 30hl old foudres. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal sulphur at bottling.
