Plush and dark yet at the same time fresh and pure. The wine balances rich dark black and red fruit with a core of balsamic and complex earth notes. Super interesting and unique expression of Aglianico.
Marco produces small amounts of wines from his vineyard in Taurasi which is aged at the winery of Frank Cornelissen in Sicily, in terracotta amphora for 2-3 years. Everything is done minimally and the wines are super rare.

NERD NOTES
This is the first wine produced by Marco, long before his cult following. Originally this was his only wine, produced in his tiny suburban garage. The name roughly translates as "Ink" in the Neapolitan dialect.
From a 25+ year old vineyard in the Montemarano region of Taurasi. Fermented and aged in a mix of clay amphora and fiberglass.
