She brings to Rioja a deep commitment to the expression of terroir and a desire to make honest, delicious wine from organically farmed grapes. It is in this sense that Sierra de Tolono may be one of the most simple estates in Rioja, no plans for Gran Reservas, no desire for Frank Gehry designed winery hotels or ultra-expensive Parker pointers.
