Tillie J - Aligote 2023

Very cool, very sleek, very up-your-alley if you like a complex serious white that's described by the winemaker as pure and linear. Throw a cool growing season together with lees ageing in a combination of new and old oak and you get this cracker of a wine.

Baking spices, pastry, ripe peach, apples and custard with a hint of nuttiness, and driving acidity to keep that new oak in check. Excellent.
