INTRO

Bonnet-Cotton is the estate of Marine Bonnet and Pierre Cotton.

Pierre and Marine produce the sort of wine that gives natural wine a good name. Their wines are made with organic fruit and minimal intervention, showcasing the care and skill of the winemakers

The wines are both elegant and fresh, with layers of dense, delicious fruit. The wines are made with minimal intervention, resulting in a clean and smooth finish that is approachable for any wine lover. This is just super good wine.

While they have small number of sites across Beaujolais, Brouilly is the heart of the estate. Their old family winery is located here, while many of their finest wines are grown on the hill of Brouilly.

A LITTLE HISTORY

The estate began in 2014 as a single wine project created by Pierre alone, named 100% Cotton.

The vineyards for this were taken from his families holdings, with Pierres family having farmed and produced wine in the same cellar in Odenas since 1856.

Over time, the estate has grown to include several small vineyards throughout Beaujolais.

In 2020, Marine joined the estate, with a background in viticultural agronomist. Today, winemaking and farming are done collaboratively.

VINEYARDS & WINEMAKING

All vineyards are farmed organically and the wines are made without any added sulfur. The wines are fermented semi-carbonically in large cement tanks, followed by elevage for 8-9 months in old foudres.

The estate has recently begun implementing agroforestry practices (vegetation cover, hedges, intra-plot trees, soft pruning, etc.). The
