An amphora aged Italian red made of even parts Aleatico and Grechetto Rosso!

Red and dark cherries, dark berry fruit, with notes of dried herbs, a touch of fruit spice, and mineral rich earth.

Vibrant on the palate, the texture is all racy mineral earth and crunchy fruit, structured with grippy tannin, and a lines upon lines of acidity.

Delicious drinking all round.

NERD NOTES

A blend of Aleatico (50%) and Grechetto Rosso (50%), grown with organic viticulture.

Macerated on skins for 20 days. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in terracotta amphora.

Aged for 6 months in amphora and a further 2 months (minimum) in bottle before release.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur.
