A seriously good natural Pinot Noir from the exceptional Abyss Block at Churton Vineyard.
50% semi-carbonic followed by de-stemming and a further 2 week maceration and 50% foot-crushed whole bunches macerated for 3 weeks. Both batches kept apart in barrel for 11 months and then blended before bottling.
A dark and aromatic Pinot. Notes of forest floor, violet and pink peppercorn. Elegant but with serious depth and fine, dense tannin. Finishes complex and leafy. Seriously good.
