🍇 📍

🍷 Medium Reds

A red wine from the outskirts of Colares in the greater Lisboa region. A coastal appelation where vines are planted directly into the sand. The variety here is mostly the local Ramisco variety.

Tasting Notes

Dark fruited with savoury tones in aroma.
Fruit forward in flavour, with rich dark berries and plums, a slight raisined fruit note, savoury dried herbs and fruit spice, and finishes with notes of a dark strawberry reduction and kirsch.

Medium bodied and dry on the palate, smoothly textured with a hint of lushness, chewy tannins that are cut through by fresh acidity, and a slight mineral crunch.
