Bonnet-Cotton - Cote de Brouilly Les Grilles 2021 (Magnum)

From Cotton's Le Grilles parcel planted in the 1950's. Semi-Carbonic vinification in concrete tank, 11 months elevage in a combination of seasoned foudres and barrel. From very old vines sitting on some weird yellow silicious rock. 

The most structured and intense of the cuvees, always rich, dark fruited, lots of tannin and structure. But as ever, it dances with some level of lightness. The perfect marriage of terroir and winemaker, the yin and the yang.
