Made by Cantine di Dolianova, this is a great example of Cannonau: Sardinia's Grenache.
Intensely perfumed on the nose, with red and dark fruits, subtle herbs, and a touch of dried earth.
Ripe fruit flavours of red and dark cherries, red berries, and currants, accompanied by dried Mediterranean herbs, dried earth, and a slight saline quality.
Richly textured on the palate, with grippy fruit tannin, kept approachable by fresh mineral acid, long and warming on the finish.
