A blend of Greco of Caprettone from Campania, Italy.
The grapes come form a single vineyard, 'Vigna Montagna', located in the town of Boscotrecase (within Naples). The vineyard lies at 300m altitude and has a southern exposure, with vines growing in volcanic sands.
The wine is made up of 60% Greco and 40% Caprettone. The Greco is vinified with one day of skin maceration, while the Caprettone is vinified with two days on skins.
Fermentation takes place in plastic tabs, before being aged in stainless steel for 10 months. The wine is aged for a further 4 months in bottle.
Bottled with minimal added sulphur.
