A well balanced, fresh and elegant Champagne - its rich and complex.

Aromatic and fresh on the nose, with notes of pear, apple, lime blossom, red berries, and brioche, all building in flavours with ripe fruits and a moreish toasty character.

Elegant and fresh on the palate, well balanced, rounded in texture while light, enjoyably smooth and vibrant bubbles.
Nerd Notes

A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru of Aÿ in the Vallée de la Marne - Champagne, France

Aged sur lattes (horizontally on racks) for a minimum of 2 years before being disgorged.

A small domaine that has been operating since 1696, the family produce Champagne from pinot noir chardonnay grapes all grown across just seven hectares of vineyards.

Louis Cheval took over the Récoltant-Manipulant (grower producer) domain in 2010 having been a geologist for many years prior. He brought an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Ay terroir which fosters the exceptional quality of that fantastic expression of Champagne.
