Chateau Jean Faure - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2014

This excellent biodynamic estate is located in the heart of the Premiers Grand Cru Classe vineyards of St-Emilion, right next to such fancy pants as Cheval Blanc and Figeac. The estate is dominated by Cabernet Franc, which makes up the majority of plantings.

Old wine is good wine, especially when it comes to Bordeaux. Super expressive wine with layers of dark fruit, cherry and licorice alongside aged earth notes. Complex with excellent length and structure. Fine but serious tannin keeping everything in check. Lovely.

For Sydney: Free delivery to when you spend over $85. Same day (Tue to Sat) delivery by us (not a courier) when you order by midday (for suburbs within 10km of the shop). 

For Melbourne, Brisbane and other major centers: Free delivery over $100 and sent by wine courier. Usually 2-3 days but depends on courier availability etc.
