From the meticulously farmed vineyards of the wonderful Christian Venier. This cuvee is primarily Gamay with some Pinot Noir.
Elegant red wine but with great concentration and complexity. Floral on the nose with notes of cherry, pepper and violets. Fresh but underpinned by some grainy tannin, adding structure and longevity.

NERD NOTES
From the Carteries Vineyard, clay and limestone over sand and silex.
Whole cluster ferment, finishing carbonic. Fermented in cement before elevage in tank with no additions at any stage.
