Tasting Notes

A classic Bordeaux blend from an excellent organic estate.

Aromatic and full flavoured, with notes of black currant, black cherry, and black fruit notes, subtle vanilla, a hint of cedar, dark chocolate, and rolled tobacco on the finish.

Smooth and lush on the palate, richly textured and structured with firm tannin, with a generous character. The finish is long and complex, with a lingering minerality. A few years of age has really started to add complexity.

This wine has excellent aging potential and can be cellared for several years to come. It pairs well with red meats and strong cheeses.

Nerd Notes

Blend of Merlot (46%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Cabernet Franc (8%), and Petit Verdot (6%), all estate grown with organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Grapes are hand harvested in small grapes. Vinification occurs in concrete tanks, undergoing spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts.

Aged reductively for 12 months in (300L & 400L) French oak barrels.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur, and a light filtration if needed.
