Domaine de la Borde - 'Ad Infernum et Salutem' 2021

A pure and open red blend from Jura, France. 

This vintage has notes of current and earthy blueberry on the nose and touches of wood-earthiness on the palate, aided by an intense cranberry acidity and subtle tannins. Supple yet well-structured.

Grown in the deep red marls facing south-west on steep terroir that's worked manually with no chemicals. Hand-harvested, semi-carbonic maceration, fermented with native yeasts and aged in barrel for 10 months, the same as Julien's other reds from this vintage.
