Light, bright, and crunchy Gamay goodness - everything you want from Beaujolais; its absolutely delicious and organically crafted by the Charnay family.

Fresh and juicy. Rose petals and red fruit on the nose. Light and crunchy on the palate, with red fruit flavours of cherries, strawberry, and cranberry, a hint of dark berries, along with notes of tea, pepper, spice, with a touch of earth and minerality. All held together and packed in tight with acidity and grippy tannins, giving it a delightful mouthfeel.

Vibrant, crunchy, and absolutely delicious - its so very drinkable.

ABOUT DOMAINE CHARNAY

Thibault Charnay took over the family vineyards around his hometown in 2012. After a small expansion, he now farms 12 hectares of gamay on golden limestone soil - the famed Les Pierres Dorées terroir the area is known for - around Anse in the south of Beaujolais.

Thibault has long helped his wife Emilie's family with the organic treatments for their vineyards, recently converting his own vineyards to organic farming practices (achieving certification in 2019). He now vinifies and bottles his own wine, instead of selling the grapes to other winemakers.

Thibault ferments his using native yeasts and cold carbonic maceration, resulting in the classic, delicious style of Gamay that Beaujolais is known for.
