Tasting Notes

Richly concentrated and softly textured red from the Southern Rhone Valley.

Intensely flavoured, with notes of red cherry and berry fruits, highlighted with spiced tones, an earthy undertone, and nuanced hints of tobacco.
Rich on the palate, soft and lithe on the palate, structured around a well-integrated tannin line and splash of bright acidity.
Long, clean, and driven on the finish.
Nerd Notes

A blend of Grenache (78%), Syrah (14%), Cinsault (6%), and Mourvèdre (2%).

Vines grow in the Southern Rhone appellation of Gigondas, on clay-limestone soils that range from sandy to very stony.

Grapes are hand harvested. Grapes are crushed as whole bunches, fermented with indigenous yeast over a period of 21 days with daily pump overs, before being aged for 12 months in old oak foudres.
