A very light and fruity red from the slopes of Beaujolais.

Producer: Domaine Minhaé - Lan Bertrand

Region: Blacé, Beaujolais

Grapes: Gamay Noir

Red fruited in flavour, with small crushed red berry and cherry fruit taking centre stage, notes of red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry, all juicy and ripe with a slight touch of tartness, accompanied by subtle spiced notes.

Super light on the palate, fresh and vibrant in character, structured from slight but firm tannin, and a fruity acid drive that runs through to the finish.

NERD NOTES

The grapes were hand picked and placed into a fibre glass tank, where they underwent spontaneous fermentation and were macerated on skins for 15 days.

The wine was aged for 8 months, two thirds in a stainless steel tank and the remaining third in a seasoned demi-muid (600L) oak barrel.

Bottled without fining, filtration, or any additions (sulphur or otherwise).
