🍇 Pinot Noir 📍 Burgundy

🍷 Light Reds

Tasting Notes

A silky Pinot Noir from Burgundy, showcasing the region's characteristic elegance and intensity.

Pretty floral and red-blue fruit aromatics. Concentrated flavours of lifted raspberry and fresh cherry, light pepper and and spice notes, and savoury woodland undergrowth tones.
Lively on the palate, dry, fresh yet structured in texture, framed between fine almost-powdery tannin and a bright acid line, with a delicate saline character emerging on the finish.

Nerd Notes

Old vine Pinot Noir from Chassagne-Montrachet, Côte de Beaune - Burgundy, France.

Pinot Noir grapes from 50+ year old vines growing on 'Les Grandes Terres' red clay soils on a single 0.94 hectare site of Cassagne.

The wine is fermented with wild yeasts and 50% whole bunches, taking place in large-format old oak barrels where it is then matured on lees for 12 months, with a further 6 months of refinement in tank before bottling.

Bottled unfiltered with minimal added sulphur.
