Dzmebis Marani "Brothers Cellar"
Founded in 2015 by Guram Avqopashvili, a German expat, Brother’s Cellar upholds a family tradition of winemaking as old as 1900, producing several natural Georgian wines with traditional qvevri style production. The winery produces up to 3,000 bottles of wine annually and cultivates local Rkatsiteli, Tsintebeli and Saperavi grape varietals with organic processes.
Located in the hilly, historic village of Bolnisi in the historic Kartli region of Georgia, Brother’s Cellar enjoys a humid subtropical climate that is the perfect environment for winemaking. The Mashavera River flows through the town stretching eastward, where the capital Tbilisi is approximately 67 km away.
