Tasting Notes

A classic Heathcote Shiraz - rich and generously flavoured, with its characteristic warming tones.

Generous ripe fruit flavours of black cherry, juicy plum, and mulberry, accompanied by a subtle savouriness, white pepper, and vanilla and coconut spiced notes.
Soft on the palate, silk-smooth in texture, full bodied, structured with fine well-integrated tannins that give a slight chewiness to the mouth-feel yet making for an approachable sip.

The perfect warming treat on a cold winter night.

Nerd Notes

Shiraz sourced from two vineyards - Coliban Glen Vineyard, Kimbolton (60%) and Mount Burrumboot Estate, Colbinabbin (40%) - in Heathcote, Victoria.

Hand harvested on the 4th and 20th of March, the fruit was fermented with a four week skin maceration.
Afterwards, it was aged for 24 months in a combination of two new French oak puncheons and one 2 year old American oak barrique.

Bottled in May 2023, unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulphur.
