Pinot Blanc when done well can be so delicious. Peach and fresh apple with a light mountain herb quality. Soft yet fresh and mineral at the same time.

Great with lighter foods but also on its own.

"Steep vineyards on light limestone and porphyry soils. A combination of cool altitude vineyards up to 900m and warmer locations at a medium altitude of around 250m. Elena Walch’s broad portfolio of terroirs span the best aspects of Alto Adige winegrowing. The vineyards are blessed with a combination of Mediterranean warmth and cool winds from the surrounding Dolomites, creating unique and desirable tension in the wines. Hand-picked with the greatest care."

"After harvest, the grapes are carefully crushed and pressed. The fresh must is statically clarified at low temperatures and then gently fermented at a controlled temperature of 20°C in stainless steel tanks. The young wine matures in stainless steel tanks for several months on the fine lees."
