Tasting Notes

An easy drinking red from the Southern Rhone.

Structured with Grenache and Carignan, while a rich fruitiness coming from the Merlot. Ripe red, dark, and blue berry fruit, dried herbs, and hints of spice.

Bright yet rustic in character, dry and medium bodied, with a fine line of earthy tannin.
Nerd Notes

The Merlot and Grenache were grown on sandy soils in the Roaix, while the Carignan was grown in gravelly silt soil.

Vinified with indigenous yeasts, no acidification, short maceration of 4 days with one pump-over per day, temperatures between 20 and 24 °c, in fiber and concrete tanks.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur, no filtration or fining.
