For this tasting we are hopping in our Ferrari Lamborghini and heading to flavour valley. Broom broom.

Emilia Romagna is one of the most famous food and wine regions in Italy. Parmigiana cheese, Parma Prosciutto, Modena Vinegar... all made here. Also cars.

As a wine region it is one of the biggest, with the third highest volume in Italy. Almost half of this goes into the production of Lambrusco, the regions most well known wine. Most famous as a fizzy red, Lambrusco has a historically bad reputation, with lakes of sweet nothings being produced. However, like most "much-maligned" wines it can also be delicious, at its best a dry semi-sparkling drink that elevates food like few other wines can. 

Aside from the sparkling wines, Emilia-Romagna produces lots of delicious wines from across the region. Sangiovese and Barbera are the most well known alongside local Albana and Malvasia. Also Amaro! Delicious Amaro.
