WHAT THE HELL IS MACVIN?!?
Grape juice from the Jura is boiled down till reduced by half, before being fortified with brandy to about 16% abv. The resulting concoction is then aged in oak casks for at least 6 years.
The resulting... thing, is rich and flavoursome with a dark amber colour and notes of dried fruit. Potentially very delicious and can be drunk for months after opening.
