Fighting Gully Road - Sangiovese 2023

An unassumingly great Sangiovese that tastes like a slice of Tuscany right here in Aus. Does what it says on the tin and to great affect. We love it.

A bright and juicy red wine with aromas of red berries, cherries, and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with flavors of fresh strawberries, plums, and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, and the acidity is lively and balanced.

This Sangiovese is an excellent food wine and pairs well with a range of Italian cuisine, such as pasta dishes, grilled meats, or pizza. It's an enjoyable wine to drink now but can also age well for a few years.
