Charming and energetic Vouvray that shows exactly why we love the region.

Aromatic, with white florals, fruit notes of pear, peach, and quince, a subtle smokiness. Builds with flavours of ripe pear and peach, subtle spices, and a pronounced minerality.

Smooth and full of tension on the palate, medium bodied and dry, with vibrant energetic acidity and a soft almost powdery texture, giving way to a long elegant finish.
Nerd Notes

Chenin Blanc from Vouvray in the Loire Valley, France.

The grapes come from a variety of vineyards, all with clay soils and an average of 30 year old vines.

Grapes are hand harvested, sorted in both the vineyard and winery. Fermented over a period of 2 to 3 months with indigenous yeasts.
Aged for 4 to 5 months on lees in oak barrel and foudre.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur.

Less than 4g residual sugar, but tastes dry.
