A concentrated and finely textured wine from the famed Clos de Vougeot grand cru in the Côte de Nuits.

Perfumed, floral, and aromatic. Notes of raspberry, strawberry, and red cherry on the nose, hints of cranberry and pomegranate, subtle spices, forest floor, and touch of tart fruits.

Full of depth and complexity on flavour. Concentrated notes of ripe raspberry, strawberry, and red berry fruits, fresh red fruit highlights and dried fruit hints, pomegranate, wrapped around a savoury dry spiced line, with nuanced notes of woodland undergrowth, truffles, moss, and earth showing as the wine opens up in the glass.

Smooth and weighty on the palate, rich and lushly textured with a layered enveloping mouthfeel, structured between well-integrated soft-fine tannin and a fresh underlying acidity. Finishes long, clean, persistent, and full of clarity.
