A fresh, fruit forward Sangiovese from Front Left Wines - an exciting new producer out of Mudgee!

Full of red fruits - red cherries, berries, and plums - on the nose. Builds on the palate, with crunchy red and black fruits, subtle oak baking spices - cloves, cinnamon - dried herbs, and a slightly brambly element. A subtle mineral undercurrent, keeping it all fresh and approachable. Dry, light to medium bodied, clean acidity, light grippy tannins, making for a fresh and fun sip.

Twelve days skin contact, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 35% carbon maceration, aged for 6 months in aged barriques, unfined & unfiltered.
