Pretty on the nose, subdued at first but revealing a bouquet of fresh violet, soft red and dark berries, redcurrant, subtle spice notes, and alpine vegetation.

Richly fruited in flavour, strawberry, and redcurrant on the fore with more red and dark fruits behind, vanilla and clove spices, and alpine shrubbery, which gives way to savoury woodland undergrowth, mushroom, and moist earth.

Elegant on the palate, dense in texture, dry, light to medium bodied, structured with a fine tannin acid, balanced by mineral-driven acidity, with a clean, persistent finish.

Delicious drinking, something to enjoy on a cool winter night.
