Tasting Notes

An elegant and complex Pinot Noir from Austria, that is full of 'Burgundian' charm.

Fragrant red berry and cherry aromatics, with savoury spices, and a touch of yogurt. Beautifully opens up on the palate, with ripe fruit flavours of dark cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, with botanical tones to to spiced notes of cloves and cardamon, savoury herbs, mushroom, and forest undergrowth.
It's dry, medium to full bodied, with a lush texture that is both serious and full of finesse, structured with bright mineral acidity and fine, meaty tannin. Finishes long and clean.

Close your eyes and savor each sip, you might start to think you're sitting back on the hills of the Cote d'Or...

Following fermentation, the wine was aged for 14 months in 225L barriques (45% new oak).
