A blend of Frappato, Nero d’Avola, Merlot, and Albanello from near Ragusa in the south-eastern corner of Sicily, Italy.
The grapes grow on a 3.8ha estate, with vines growing in a combination of clay, sand, and limestone soils, and are farmed with organic and regeneerative viticulte.
The separate varietals are picked at different times with the 'Lifasi' blend in mind.
The separate varieties are skin macerated with whole bunches, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and blended early to maximise the flavours' integration.
Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulphur.
