Jura's classic Vin Jaune - rich and oxidative like a Sherry, but unfortified.

Strong and powerful on the nose, with a distinct oxidative character filled with nuttiness and spice aromatics.

Rich and full of energy, traditional Vin Jaune character, dry, with a vibrant mineral line that runs into a clear & pure finish.
Nerd Notes

Savagnin from the Jura, France, made in the Vin Jaune style.

Grapes were hand picked, organic grown, and harvested later than nearby vineyards to further develop power and flavour.

Aged for 7 years in 230L oak barrels, where the wine is not topped up & aged under a flor.
The barrels are tasted 2 to 3 times a year to ensure the wine is aging properly & see when it is ready for bottling.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur.
