A spicy and tasty medium bodied red from a great small Biodynamic estate in Fronton, South West France - a rarely seen wine region.

Beautifully aromatic and lovely on the nose, with red berries, spice, dried herbs, violets, and a fine earthiness. The fruit builds on the palate, with lively notes of red and black berries, along with oak spices and a savoury character.

Medium bodied, dry, and a spicy finish, making for a vibrant, elegant sip.

Food friendly, pairing well charcuterie, terrine, grilled pork, lambs cutlets, and other red meats.

Nerd Notes

30 year old vines, with a terroir of siderolitic gravels and sandy clay.

Grapes are hand harvested, sorted, and partially de-stemmed.

Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts in concreate tanks. Macerated for 15 days, 'infusion' style.

Aged for 5 months in concreate tanks before bottling.

No fining, light filtration, minimal sulphur.
