Latta Vino - Granite Riesling 2023

A crisp, dry, and mineral driven Riesling from Owen Latta in Victoria.

Crisp apples and mineral rich, with white florals, crunchy pears, a savoury nuttiness, and finishes with a pleasing sherbety tang. Dry, refreshing acidity, light to medium bodied, and a deliciously mineral driven palate.

Great value and unlike the lemon-lime citrus character of so many Australian Rieslings.

NERD NOTES

The fruit for this wine comes from Mount Alexander in Harcourt Central Victoria - whole bunch pressed then fermented in stainless, aged on fine lees for months then bottled. As always the wines go through full malo, unfined, unfiltered & untinkered.
