Le Petit Comptoir - Blanc 2022

A great little white out of Bordeaux. As a region Bordeaux has really started to produce some tasty and interesting wines from its smaller (and not so small) minimal intervention estates. They still make plenty of fancyman oak wines but now they also make something I actually want to drink.

A fresh and juicy Sauvignon with a touch of Muscadelle thrown in to add some interesting aromatics. Textual on the palate with notes of ripe lemon and peach. Has a nice waxy quality to the wine. Yum.
