Juicy and sweetly fruited, with dark plums and cherries, fragrant notes five-spice and savoury oak spices, a touch of dried herbs, dusty earth, and hints of leather.

Smooth yet rustic on the palate, dry and medium bodied, with sinewy-earthy tannin, refreshing acidity, and a savoury finish.

NERD NOTES

Organic grown Sangiovese grapes, sourced from the Miracle Hill Vineyard in the McLaren Vale, SA.

Opened fermented with indigenous yeasts, hand plunged, and macerated on skins for 16 days. Matured in seasoned French oak for 12 months.

Minimal added sulphur at bottling, no other additions.
