🍇 Pinot Noir 📍 Derwent Valley

🍷 Light Reds

Tasting Notes

A fresh and perfumed Pinot from Tasmania. Spiced red fruits, dark cherry, roses and savoury spice. Juicy red fruits on the palate with crisp acid and wet stone notes. Really good. Decant or age.

Nerd Notes

"Biodynamic Lubiana Estate Derwent valley Vineyard: A blend of the close planted block (5 year old) clay over chalk, lower alluvial pinot block (25 year old) mudstone/sand, and some higher up clay/chalk pinot blocks (16 year old) clay over gravel/chalk. A large diversity of clones from these blocks I grow on the estate." - Marco

50% wholebunch. 15% new oak barriques. Little to no sulphur used in the fermentation, 100% wild yeast, one racking in spring, 12 months in French oak barrels (228L), bottled unfiltered on site. Free sulphur around 25ppm.
