Grapes: Cinsault / Grenache 

A blend of Cinsault and Grenache from St-Julien-en-St-Alban, halfway between the Northern and Southern Rhone. Light bodied but really interesting wine. Notes of smoky red cherry, strawberry, plum and violets. A bit of chill works well.

Martin Texier is the son of the famous winemaker Eric Texier. After working for a time in New York, Martin returned to the Rhone to follow in his fathers’ footsteps. He now has 5 hectares of vines in the same village as his father, who continues to make wine.
