🍇 Grüner Veltliner 📍 Kamptal

🍷 Soft & Textural Whites

Tasting Notes

Bright, textural, and concentrated Grüner with a delicious biting minerality.

Richly aromatic, with honey-lathered apple and pear fruits. Baked apple and pear on the palate, subtle oak spices, honey, and a moreish raisin character, all wrapped around a near-crystalline minerality.

Smooth and lushly textured on the palate, dry, medium bodied, with a weighty fruit crunch that is cut through by a bright biting acidity for a stony-mineral finish.

Nerd Notes

Grüner Veltliner from Kamptal, Austria.

Hand harvested grapes as whole bunches, spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in 5 year-old (300L & 500L) oak barrels.
The wine is left to mature in barrel for 2 years before bottling.

Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulphur.
