Meredith 'No More Sleeps' Red Blend 2024 | NSW

A delicious chilled red from NSW. Elegant and juicy red fruits with a bit of spice and pepper.

Grapes: Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon (Skins)

Fruit forward, lots of red and dark berries, plums, and a bright pop of citrus and stone fruit. Has a bright touch of minerality, with a green pepper and vegetal tone giving it a touch of pepper-ness and a slight crunch to  it.

Light and fresh on the palate, dry, crisp in texture with a core of vibrant acid and soft grippy tannins adding a touch more structure.

The perfect wine to pair with classic BBQ or pub food - pizza, parmy, pasta, grilled veggies, seafood, its good with it all!

NERD NOTES

Grapes sourced from Borenore Vineyard in Orange and Back Boundary Vineyard in Hilltops.

Fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel.

Merlot was picked and pressed first; Chardonnay followed, fully destemmed, placed into the stainless; then the 'spent' Cabernet skins - leftover from making a rose - were added to the drained juice from the skinsy Chardonnay (giving it the bright red colour and Cabernet flavours).

Matured in two seasoned oak puncheon and one newer Austrian hogshead.

Unfined, unfiltered, and no added sulphur.
