Clay and limestone soils (Carcu area: North-East facing, Lumiu area: South facing, high density 7,600 vines per hectare). Albore means dawn in Corsican. Only a small amount of So2 is used at bottling and appears on the label.

Tasting Notes

An energetic seaside Corsican Vermentinu - it's Vermentino, but quite as you know it!

Textural with a mix of citrus fruits and pear, alongside more savoury notes and Mediterranean herbs. Dry with a mineral core and saline finish. Very complex and interesting wine.
