Ori Marani - Laora Sparkling NV

Georgian sparkling rosé, Champagne method, fermented in one third Qvevri and two thirds French oak with a 15 month elevage. It's extra dry, uber pale, slightly creamy, and off-beat in the best way. There is so, so much to absorb here. Cherry blossom, ginseng, juniper, prune juice and white florals framed by a savoury, briny salinity and complimented by earthy resin aromas and cucumber. A wonderfully wacky wine that deserves to be seen by the world.
