A bright and deeply drinkable red from Lazio, made by Piero Riccardi and Lorella Reale using the local Cesanese di Affile grape.
Estate grown, biodynamic, and low intervention, this wine is a firm handshake from the volcanic hills of Olevano Romano.
Fresh red cherries, berries, and currants, a touch of dried fruit, rich volcanic earth, subtle spiced notes, hints of dried herbs, olives, and moss. Dry and medium bodied, with vibrant mineral acidity, light dusty tannin, and a long, dry finish, resulting in a deliciously smooth and savoury wine.
