🍇 Chenin Blanc 📍

🍷 Soft & Textural Whites

Tasting Notes

A lovely Barossa Chenin Blanc that highlights the varietal's character.

Very generous with ripe fruit flavours, bright red and green apples, juicy pear, brined citrus, and soft stone fruits mixed in, alongside lemon curd, stony minerality, a nutty richness, and a hint of spice.

Smooth and lush on the palate, dry, medium bodied, weighty in style but not over-ripe, with a soft layered texture that balances mineral acidity and a nutty chewiness.

A yummy Chenin (perfect for Charlie when he's in town next).

Nerd Notes

Chenin Blanc source from the Barossa Valley (85%) & Clare Valley (15%), South Australia.

The grapes are sourced from three sites: two in the Barossa Valley (Vine Vale on sandy soils & a small Light Pass parcel) and one in the Clare Valley (60 year old from the valley's elevated north).

The fruit is firmly pressed, is fermented on lees for 8 to 20 days, and goes through malolactic fermentation.

The wine rests in older French and Slovenian oak puncheons, a 1000L European oak cask, and a 3200L foudre, before being racked to stainless steel in January 2026, where it rests for another 6 weeks.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur.
