APPLES FROM BEYOND

After a little delay we our rescheduled Calvados tasting is back on!

Join us as we taste our way through a selection of spirits from Calvados in France. We will be tasting the regions base cider through to pommeau and finally a selection of excellent spirits.

Calvados and apple brandies are some of the most delicious drinks that many people have never tried. Essentially distilled cider, these can be some of the most wonderful and age-worthy drinks around.

Is it because the Apple has mysterious powers? Did they come here from another dimension? Did apples build the pyramids? Maybe! So come along as Manu the Magnificent takes us through a selection of brilliant Calvados and answers these questions and more.

EVENT DETAILS

Our wine tastings finish at 8:30 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food, we will have some nibbles but not meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the wine bar for dinner after a tasting.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for credit up to 7 days before the event. This cannot be done closer to the event as we order wines for the event based on ticket sales. If you cannot make the event, you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, like a gift!
