Tourlaudiere - A Corbeau Pineau d'Aunis 2022

A fresh & crunchy light red from the Eastern Loire Valley in France!

Pretty on the aroma, with violets, crunchy red berries, and fruit spice. Light and dry on the palate, with refreshing acidity and a touch of grainy tannins, giving it a vibrant and thirst quenching texture. Notes of crushed red berries and fruits - strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, and redcurrant - with a slightly bitter blackcurrant leaf character.

Tourlaudiere is a small estate that has been in the same family since the 17th century. Romain Petiteau, is the current generation of family winemakers, having joined father his father at the estate in 2007 and is largely running things today. The vineyards are organically farmed and practices minimal intervention winemaking.
